Class Description
This is an 8-hour, 1-day class that focuses on building the skills one needs to carry a gun every day. We work on fast and efficient draws from concealment, marksmanship skills at speed, reloads, plus discussion of the pros and cons of various types of concealed carry gear.

Who is this class for?
Anyone who is already familiar with the firing and function of their pistol, and can safely handle pistols in an open outdoor environment. This class is not designed to teach you how to operate a pistol.

Class Requirements
-Reliable pistol, clean and freshly oiled
-A minimum of 3 magazines, or enough magazines to have at least 36 rounds on the line with you
-A quality IWB or AIWB holster with a secure belt clip. (I highly recommend Tenicor. Other good brands include Tier1, JM Custom Kydex, Black Point Tactical, CrossBreed, and PHLster. These aren’t the only acceptable brands, but having a quality holster is essential to this class. Contact Andy with questions about a holster.)
-500 rounds of ammo
-A sack lunch
-A good attitude and open mind

*This class is not a qualifying handgun course for the purpose of obtaining a South Dakota Enhanced Pistol Permit. This is a shooting-only class.

**Students are responsible for paying range fee of $15 at the range, members of Sioux River Sportsmen’s Club do not have to pay the range fee.

Refund Policy: Refunds are only granted if a class is canceled due to instructor scheduling conflict, instructor illness or family emergency. Otherwise we have a NO REFUND policy. Classes postponed due to weather are not subject to refund. If you unable to attend a course you have paid for, or it is postponed due to weather, you can apply your enrollment fee to a future class at no extra cost. If you are removed from the class you will not receive a refund.
